This is an original painting made with acrylic paint on canvas, measuring 36” x 48” x 1.5”.

This piece is based on the idea of Self-Discovery, with the characters literally digging up their own histories. Like many of the pieces in this series, the whimsical scene also depicts a deeper story of the inner and outer worlds of self. This particular piece, made in Summer 2018, includes elements of my DiNOLA series - a dinosaur parallel of New Orleans, LA, where these characters have been conceived and developed.
